We are having a beautiful March snow today.  Big snow flakes.  Not much accumulation.  A couple of inches at most.  Virtually no accumulation on the roads.

Why do I like snow so much?  I guess I think snow is so peaceful.  Unlike rain, which seems to be in a hurry to get to the ground, pushing downward as violently and quickly as it can, snowflakes take their time.  The large puffy flakes we are seeing today take their time floating to the ground.  There is a peace and quiet in the air during a snowstorm that you never see any other time of the year.  And this snow is perfect.  You don’t have to shovel it!  Rain, rain, go away, come again another day.  Snowflakes, you are most welcome.  Take your time.  Make yourself at home.
